Youth with Purpose, a New Kind of Horsepower

Do you know a teen between ages of 13 to 15 who is struggling with self-esteem and self-confidence, steeped in anxiety?  Are they stuck in overwhelm with the challenges of growing up?

This 90-minute experiential learning session lead by Anita Sharma, Children’s Therapist and Linda-Ann Bowling, Horse Guided Master Facilitator and Life Coach will focus on safe ground (non-riding) activities with the horses and donkeys.  Kids will learn:

1.       How to manage and give voice to confusing emotions

2.       How to manage anxiety, sadness and depression

3.       Understand the importance of self-care and practicing some ways to get there

The program will be held in a natural, farm environment surrounded by the sights and sounds of the power and healing of Mother Nature – South Surrey location.

The group size will be limited to 6 kids to allow personalized and hands-on interaction with the equines.

To register for the session, please use the contact link below to set-up a pre-screening and suitability session.  Please note this is a non-riding program, and no previous horse experience is required.  All participants will be required to have a parent or legal guardian sign a release waiver.

Cost:  $100

Further information will be available following the submission and acceptance into the program.  Note: This is an introductory session.  Participants will have the opportunity to join our longer 6-week program starting in the fall.
